A Phase 2 Randomized, Open-Label, Multisite Trial to Inform Public Health Strategies Involving the Use of MVA-BN Vaccine for Mpox

This Phase 2, open-label multi-site platform trial will evaluate strategies to inform public health decisions regarding the use of JYNNEOS for mpox prevention and mitigation of outbreaks. As JYNNEOS is also used for smallpox prophylaxis, this trial will also inform public health decisions on the use of the vaccine for smallpox.

The George Washington University is seeking volunteers for an mpox (previously known as monkeypox) vaccine trial.
