Jennifer Lesko, MD, MPH, FACOG is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology with the GW Medical Faculty Associates.
After graduating from Weill Cornell Medical College, she completed her residency at Northwestern University’s McGaw Medical Center. There, she served as Chief Resident of Education during her final year of training. She then completed a Family Planning Fellowship at Harvard Medical School, where she also served as a Clinical Instructor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and earned a Masters Degree in Public Health.
Dr. Lesko is a published author with research interests in health policy, bariatric surgery and pregnancy outcomes, improving diagnosis and management of very early pregnancy failure, and contraceptive access. Her clinical interests include contraception for patients with chronic medical conditions, family planning, female sterilization procedures, general obstetrics, miscarriage management, cervical dysplasia, adolescent gynecology, ovarian cysts, hysteroscopy, vulvar disease, and vaginal surgery.
Dr. Lesko is a strong advocate for women’s health and feels privileged to care for women and their families throughout their whole lives. She believes passionately in partnering with her patients and using the best evidence to tailor individual treatment plans, both in the office and in the delivery room.
Dr. Lesko is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the Society of Family Planning, and a member of the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals.
