Maram Alkhatib, MD is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Dr. Alkhatib earned her Medical Degree in 2008 at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and in 2012, she completed a Master of Science degree in clinical Research at the National University of Ireland. Dr. Alkhatib’s Residency was completed in Internal Medicine, Primary Care track in 2015, here at The George Washington University. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is licensed in the District of Columbia.
Dr. Alkhatib’s clinical experiences stem from basic specialist training at Galway University in Ireland and here at The George Washington University. She has teaching experience and budding scholarly activity, which include a number of posters and presentations locally and internationally, which she will continue to build on during her tenure here at the GW MFA.
