Roger Bhojwani, MD, is board-certified in diagnostic radiology and holds a certificate in neuroradiology. Also, he is an assistant professor with The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. After completing his undergraduate degree early, he opted to teach Physics and Chemistry at his Alma Mater high school for two years prior to enrolling in Medical School. Dr. Bhojwani is a proud graduate of The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences, earning his Medical Degree in 1998. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine there as well. Dr. Bhojwani then went on to successfully complete his residency training in diagnostic radiology at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After these formative years in Nashville, he came back home to The George Washington University (GW) and completed his Fellowship training in Neuroradiology.
Dr. Bhojwani then immediately joined the GW faculty on a part-time basis while also working for a teleradiology company. During that time, Dr. Bhojwani remained deeply committed to resident education at GW and lectured frequently while performing clinical duties for the Radiology Department as needed. Over the years, Dr. Bhojwani has been recognized multiple times by the Radiology Department for his extremely effective teaching and dedication to education.
His primary obligation is treating patients in the GW Outpatient Imaging Center. However, he also performs clinical duties at George Washington University Hospital. He plans on continuing to provide excellent clinical service to his patients and to continue his passion of teaching.
Dr. Bhojwani has been married to his beautiful wife since 2001 and has been blessed with two very sweet, bright, athletic boys.
