Dr. Sabita Ittoop is a fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of routine and complex glaucoma. She provides her patients with innovative and up to date medical, laser, and surgical treatments.
Dr. Ittoop holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University. She completed her medical degree at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and received her training in Ophthalmology at the University of Rochester. She completed her Fellowship in Glaucoma at the prestigious Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute at the University of Colorado.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and Harvard University’s Chandler & Grant Glaucoma Society. She has presented at several national meetings and authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in her specialty.
Dr. Ittoop is committed to both local and international outreach programs. She is involved in local health fairs and glaucoma screenings. In addition, she has volunteered her services at the prestigious LV Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad, India and provided care to the remote regions of Ecuador.
