Tsion B. Abebe, MSN, APRN, CRNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who joined the George Washington University (GW) Medical Faculty Associates Division of Endocrinology in August 2021.
Abebe started her nursing career at GW Hospital in the cardiovascular department after earning her Associate of Science in Nursing degree at Northern Virginia Community College in 2013. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2014 and Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2019 at GW.
Abebe has been practicing as a primary care clinician and providing evidence-based, patient-centered health care to diverse populations in Alexandria, VA, since 2019. She works to cultivate team-based care and aims to achieve the best possible health outcomes for her patients and their families.
Abebe's clinical interests include preventive care, diabetes, and thyroid.
