The GW Medical Faculty Associates was incorporated in July 2000 as a non-profit, physician-led practice group.
Our physicians provide comprehensive patient care, offering one practice for the whole person with 52 medical and surgical specialties. As members of The GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences faculty, our providers are teachers and mentors for medical students, residents, and researchers preserving our rich tradition of academics, research, and healing. In addition to maintaining a close alliance with The George Washington University and The George Washington University Hospital, The MFA has active referring relationships with 12 area hospitals.
A Community of Healthcare Professionals
Our leading healthcare presence in the DC metro region is complemented by a network of community-based practices in DC, Maryland and Virginia, including GW Immediate and Primary Care clinics which are wholly-owned subsidiaries of The MFA. Additionally, The MFA is home to international programs in addition to the Dr. Cyrus and Myrtle Katzen Cancer Research Center, The GW Heart and Vascular Institute, and The GW Comprehensive Breast Care Center.
