Biography

Andrew Bradley, MD, is a cardiologist with the Department of Medicine as well as an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Cardiology.

Dr. Bradley attended the University of Virginia for his undergraduate studies and then completed medical school and his internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan. He did his general cardiology fellowship here at the George Washington University (GW), followed by training in cardiac MRI and CT at the National Institutes of Health. He is excited to be returning to GW as a faculty member, rejoining many valued mentors from his fellowship training.

His clinical interests include general inpatient and outpatient cardiology, including CCU care. He is particularly interested in the application of all forms of cardiac imaging to the comprehensive evaluation and management of cardiac patients, especially those with cardiomyopathies. He has published and presented basic and clinical research on applications of cardiac imaging. Additionally, Dr. Bradley is passionate about medical education and enjoys helping learners of all levels develop their understanding of medicine.

Dr. Bradley is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He is pending board certification in cardiovascular MRI and CT. He is licensed in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
