Biography

Dr. Bridgette C. Provost is a highly accomplished physician with a diverse background in multiple medical specialties, focusing on integrative medicine and holistic care. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive health care and addressing health disparities. Driven by a passion for improving health outcomes, she excels in her clinical practice and healthcare consulting.

Dr. Provost completed her undergraduate studies in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Wesleyan University and earned a Master of Public Health degree with a specialization in Health Policy and Administration from Yale University, School of Public Health. She also holds a Doctorate of Medicine from the Florida State University College of Medicine and has completed fellowships in Aesthetic Medicine and Metabolic and Nutrition Medicine at the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. These specialized fellowships give her advanced expertise in aesthetic procedures, hormone therapy, and obesity medicine.

Throughout her career, Dr. Provost has held positions in renowned health care organizations, serving in key positions to best serve her patients. She has held positions at Liv Health, focusing on integrative and obesity medicine; and at Vault Health, where she specialized in men's health and hormone therapy and contributed to the expansion of health care services. Dr. Provost has also provided telemedicine services and practiced internal medicine as a physician at Vituity. She also served as the Medical Director at the Maryland Bariatric and Weight Loss Center, where she developed programs to improve patient outcomes and worked closely with bariatric surgeons.

Recognizing the need for comprehensive healthcare, Dr. Provost founded her own healthcare consulting company, where she offers expertise in public health, population health, and addressing health disparities. She specializes in non-surgical bariatric medicine, hormone therapy, and aesthetic medicine.

Dr. Provost's dedication to patient care is evident through her role as the lead physician at GW Primary Care, where she established a new practice location and implemented functional medicine consulting programs. She has also been a co-director of a weight loss program, providing individual assessments and group lectures. 

Additionally, Dr. Provost has actively contributed to medical research and academia. She has worked as a clinical research coordinator and sub-investigator at renowned institutions such as Orlando Health and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her research interests include quality improvement, patient care, and public health, resulting in abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations at national conferences.

Dr. Provost is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American Board of Physician Specialties, the Alliance of Independent Academic Medical Centers, the American Association of Physician Leadership, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), the North American Menopausal Society, and The Obesity Society.
