Parvinder Sheena Khurana, MD, MRCP (UK), FACP is a board certified physician and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
After obtaining diverse training in India, England and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Khurana joined GW in 2000. Soon after joining, she became involved in medical student and resident education. She started a mentoring program, as well as a women's health elective for internal medicine residents. In 2005, she became Clinic Director for Internal Medicine Residency program and continues to work in that capacity. She is very involved in ambulatory curricular development and outpatient teaching for Internal Medicine residents and serves as an Associate Program director for the Internal Medicine Residency program. In addition, she remains actively involved in medical student education.
Dr. Khurana has several clinical and scholarly interests including medical education, preventative care, chronic disease management and quality improvement. She is a strong believer in patient centered medical care.
