Biography

Sara Hogan, MD, FAAD is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Dermatology at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Hogan joins GW dermatology part-time after working in private practice in the Washington, DC area. Prior to this Dr. Hogan was the Director of Aesthetic Surgery for UCLA Dermatology Santa Monica and Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor in Dermatology at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Dr. Hogan received her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She then completed a cosmetic, laser and dermatologic surgery fellowship at SkinCare Physicians in Chestnut Hill, MA—the longest established program of its kind in the country, with clinical faculty from Harvard, Yale, and Brown. Dr. Hogan has been invited to present at international and national professional conferences, published over twenty articles in peer-reviewed journals, and co-authored over fifteen chapters in dermatologic and cosmetic surgery textbooks.
