She began her nursing career on a progressive care unit but found a love for women’s health in labor and delivery. She was a labor and delivery nurse at various hospitals, where she cared for low- and high-risk pregnant and post-partum patients, for a total of seven years. She was also a pain management nurse and nurse practitioner prior to joining the MFA. As a pain management nurse practitioner, she learned different techniques and regimens to care for patients with acute and chronic pain.
Proctor enjoys caring for women across their lifespans and strives to develop excellent patient-provider relationships to promote better health and care in all women. She actively listens to her patients and provides them with evidence-based information to help guide their care.
