Interventional Radiology

Our board-certified Interventional Radiologists offer a medical specialty which uses state of the art image guidance to perform minimally invasive procedures, many of which required surgery in the past. Interventional Radiology pioneered many of the most commonly performed minimally invasive procedures utilized today. These include balloon angioplasty and vascular stent procedures. The Interventional Radiologists with The GW Medical Faculty Associates currently perform close to 8,700 procedures yearly.

In addition to our hospital practice, we see patients (Monday-Friday 8:00am- 1:00pm) at The George Washington University Hospital, which is located at: 900 23rd St NW Washington, DC 20037, for consultation and follow up of various conditions. The clinic is on the 1st Floor, please check in at the Admissions desk.
