Kiana Gilmour, MSN-FNP, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who joined the Department of Urogynecology at The GW Medical Faculty Associates in May 2022.
Kiana, originally from Florida, has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Florida (2012). After graduating she went on to gain 7 years of clinical experience as an critical care/ICU nurse. She then earned her Masters of Science in Nursing degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from The George Washington University School of Nursing in 2019. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Since then she has worked as a provider in urgent care, providing care both in-person and via telehealth. Additional clinical experience includes volunteering with a local sexual health clinic and abroad.
Kiana's clinical interests are focused in female urology, including incontinence, overactive bladder, and pelvic floor issues. She is passionate about optimizing patient outcomes through compassionate, evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. She is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society.
